Grout Cleaning in a Delray Beach Home

Our latest grout-cleaning job took us to a single-family home in Delray Beach, Florida. The focus was the grout lines: we carefully prepared the floor, scrubbed each line, then steam cleaned and extracted the cleaning solution and dirty water.

How we cleaned the tile and grout

1. Carefully move the furniture

We began by carefully moving the furniture to give us access to the floor and grout lines we would be cleaning.

2. Pretreat the floor and grout lines

Next, we applied an enzyme cleaner to the tile floor and grout lines as the pretreatment for this job.

3. Scrub every grout line

We scrubbed all of the grout lines with a specially designed grout brush, giving each line individual attention before moving on to the machine-cleaning stage.

4. Steam clean and extract the dirty water

After scrubbing, we used a specialized steam-cleaning machine to clean the floor. As it worked, the equipment extracted the enzyme cleaning solution and dirty water through the hoses and into our truck.
